I am thankful for my four girls. I am amazed at strangers and their confessions upon seeing us all together. “You have four girls, then I am not getting pregnant for the fourth time. I don’t want a fourth boy.” “All girls. I have one girl (she says this with great disappointment in her voice), but I wish I had a boy.” When someone notices my kids and is particularly curious if Charlotte is a boy or a girl, I say with affirmation that I have ALL FOUR GIRLS. I am thankful for them. I am confused as to why strangers are sad, disappointed, or negative. I have four girls. I don’t have tons of free time, but I am still taking pictures. They can be silly, sassy, funny, stubborn, kind, rude, thoughtful, feisty, creative, and LOUD. They are quiet around people, and it takes them awhile to warm up. I love them all.
