Lydia is ONE!!!!!!!

Lydia: Why are you bringing something near my face that is on FIRE???

Lydia: Thanks for singing. Can I eat that?

Lydia: Something is making my tongue Sing!

Mom: Oh, how about we take off the muffin paper?

Mom: (Without thinking, I put the whole thing in front of her.  I normally cut e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g into tiny pieces.  Even banana slices get quartered.)

Lydia: (No words, just a quick shove of the w-h-o-l-e cupcake.)

Mom: (slightly panicking as she chews and swallows)

Lydia: That was great! Can we do it again?

Happy Birthday to Lydia! She is a happy and content baby most days.  She is still taking two naps and eating well when she isn’t teething.  She crawls quickly and is pulling up on things.  She has even stood on her own here and there.  She loves her family and smiles and laughs often.  We are blessed!
